I design animation to tell your story. Your product. Your service. Your dreams. Your vision.
Your business.
Rangeline
“Explainer video” for RangeLine Hot Tapping and Bypass company in Orlando, FL.
I worked with the client to create a process video that they could use to pitch their services. Working primarily from photos of equipment and some notes, I built all aspects of the equipment, down to individual nuts and bolts as needed. I surfaced, lit and animated all aspects, as well as edited the piece.
Full Commerical
This is a fun a regional Super Bowl spot for attorney Darryl Isaacs, aka “The Hammer,” produced by the good folks at Image Video in New Orleans, LA. I did the dragon in the spot, with assets provided by the client. This was a last-minute fix job, where the commercial was “locked,” meaning no changes to camera angles or timing was allowed.
The dragon model was purchased from Turbo Squid, with an initial rigging pass done by Image Video. I re-rigged the character over a series of shots (adding control and improvements as I needed them). There was also an initial shader pass done, but I took the image maps and rebuilt shaders in Octane and Cinema 4D. I also did the animation.
Space Command Asteroid Miner
Part of the Space Command title sequence as shown at ComiCon San Diego 2016.
I kitbashed the spaceship with some parts by Alain Rivard and myself, under the direction of the late Ron Thornton. I surfaced, lit and animated the shot in Cinema 4D, rendered in Octane, and comped in After Effects.
“Atom Boy” - Main Title
For a property I created, this is the “Atom Boy” main title. I wanted a “high energy” feel to the piece.
Hawk Drone
From a now-dead Netflix show, “Gods and Secrets,” this asset was purchased from Turbo Squid. However, it lacked UVs, so I had to add the UVs for every bit using Cinema 4D and 3D Coat. UVs were necessary in order to create the image maps with Substance Painter.
I lit and animated this quick turn around for image map approval. Sadly, the show was never completed to my knowledge, as Netflix pulled the plug. It happens.
Main Title
From a logo design by illustrator JR Johnson, I converted the design into 3D and added the worn wood and neon lighting design elements. I created the model of the sign and animated it in Cinema 4D, with shading and lighting in Arnold.
“My Dad’s Garage” is a property of EverWitt, LLC
ARNIE
This is the ARNIE drone from “Atom Boy.” ARNIE was built as Atom Boy’s lab assistant/event recorder. He has a very acerbic personality. ARNIE was designed to be built using parts available today, so aspects of the design will be familiar to makers…
Jupiter Station Flyby
Part of the Space Command title sequence as shown at ComiCon San Diego 2016.
Station model by Alain Rivard. I converted the shaders to Octane, lit and animated the shot in Cinema 4D, rendered in Octane, and composited the shot in After Effects.
“Puppy” shot
From the Hammer Super Bowl spot, this is my favorite shot from the commercial. I got a change to show off the character’s personality, and the timing wasn’t as tight as the other shots, action-wise.
I did the shaders in Octane, rigged and animated in Cinema 4D.
Produced by Image Video in New Orleans, LA
The teaser for the “MGD” pilot, featuring Everett Coast performing the theme song.
I constructed the puppet characters and JH Everett skinned them with fleece and wardrobe. I also built the robot character which was both mechanically and electronically articulated, so that only 1 puppeteer was needed in most cases (though admittedly a handful for just one operator…) I still have the robot puppet.

Disney Jr.
This interstitial spot is run between shows on Disney Jr.
I received the show assets for the Doc McStuffins character and bicycle. Originally from Maya, I converted the characters and props and redid the shaders in Cinema 4D. I rigged and animated the character and toy vehicle.
Production by Kenneth Brady, Inc.

Inspired by a business card from an auto repair shop in San Clemente, California.
Chrome. Classic red metal flake car paint. Modern carbon fiber. This all jumped out at me when I saw the card, which you can see here
Created with Maxon Cinema 4D R19 and R20; rendered with OTOY Octane. Comped in Adobe After Effects.
